Verbal and Touch Tour at the Brooklyn Museum
June 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Verbal Description and Touch Tour at the Brooklyn Museum
Visually impaired individuals and their care partners are invited to experience our collection through a descriptive gallery tour featuring tactile engagement. After the ninety-minute tour, join us in the Education Gallery for conversation and community.
The June program will explore the Brooklyn Museum Building and, if the rain holds out, public art on the grounds. This tour will include opportunities to touch both the building and objects on display.
We will go on summer hiatus after the June tour and resume in the Fall.
Free with Museum admission. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
Check in for the program at the Front Desk in the Rubin Lobby. Assistive Listening Devices and manual wheelchairs available.
